Vehicle 'clips' home near Trawick Road in Raleigh crash

A driver nearly crashed into a home Sunday night in Raleigh.

The incident happened in a neighborhood near Denbel Circle off Trawick Road around 10:15 p.m.

The driver tried to avoid hitting another vehicle that was making a turn before the crash. They ran off the roadway and 'clipped' the side of the house, according to Raleigh police.

There was minimal damage to the vinyl siding, and there was no structural damage to the home.

The driver was not hurt, and the residents were at home at the time and were uninjured.

Police said no charges are expected.
