Food Lion’s website and app are down

The Food Lion website and app are down.

A spokesperson told WRAL the company is “experiencing a network issue” and crews are working to restore service.

Food Lion said its stores remain open, and customers can access coupons and other offers at kiosks located inside each store.

Customers who want to place online orders are encouraged to use Instacart, DoorDash or Uber Eats while the website and app are unavailable.

The spokesperson also said customers will be refunded for any orders placed through FoodLion.com or the Food Lion app that were affected by the outage.
