UNC Chapel Hill holds block party to celebrate 233 years of Carolina

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will celebrate University Day with a Bell Tower Block Party, and everyone is invited.

Traditionally, UNC-CH hosts a large formal ceremony, but this year will be slightly different.

To celebrate the university's 233rd anniversary, the school will host a block party at the Bell Tower on Monday, Oct. 12.

There will be food trucks, live music, yard games, photo booths, student showcases, and a light show.

Enjoy a sweet birthday treat at the university and enter to win a stadium blanket.

The party will be at the Bell Tower from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
