Posted: 8/11/2026, 5:34:12 PM

This past Saturday, the first HighSchoolOT Jamboree of 2026 began at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Hunt and Union Pines concluded the first of an intended five games before the second game between J.H. Rose and #19 Rolesville was called after six minutes of action after the event was postponed due to inclement weather. The Rampants were not able to return for the makeup date on Monday, Aug. 7, but the other seven team — #25 Southern Durham, Middle Creek, #7 Cardinal Gibbons, #4 Millbrook, #19 Rolesville, #9 Southeast Raleigh, and #22 Wake Forest — returned for a second day of action.

On Monday, two full length scrimmages, i.e., two 22-minutes halves with running clocks ensued between Southern Durham and Middle Creek at 6 p.m. and then Cardinal Gibbons and Millbrook at 7 p.m. The remaining three teams participated in a round robin triple-header with shortened, single period, 25-minute games with running clocks. Below you can find the final scores and links to each of the game stories along with photos, streams, and videos from the scrimmages.

The first HighSchoolOT Jamboree was brought to you by State Employees Credit Union, Talk it Out NC, the United States Army, and Wake Orthopaedics. It was the first of two jamborees put on by HighSchoolOT this week. The second will take place on Friday, Aug. 14, at Wake Forest High School featuring four games between high-profile programs from around the state: Warren County, Wilson Prep, Franklonton, South Johnston, Wake Forest, Cardinal Gibbons, Garner, and Northern Nash.
