Large EMS response at Grifols pharmaceutical plant in Clayton

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker is at the scene of a large EMS and fire response at a pharmaceutical plant in Clayton.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, first responders were at the Grifols plant on U.S. Highway 70 Business. There were multiple ambulances on the scene.

A 911 supervisor in Johnston County confirmed there was a medical emergency at the plant but couldn't share additional details due to privacy laws.

WRAL News is working to learn what happened and whether anyone was hurt.
