Tractor-trailer crashes into powerlines in Zebulon

A tractor-trailer on Saturday crashed into powerlines in Zebulon.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker spotted a tractor-trailer and several downed powerlines off of North Arendell Avenue. The truck was hauling a Food Lion trailer.

A spokesperson for the town said Duke Energy has been notified about the crash. Traffic on North Arendell Avenue is being diverted onto East Judd Street, while southbound traffic is being rerouted around Town Hall to avoid the area.
