Missing Fort Bragg solider's familly is coming to NC to help in search efforts

Family members of missing Fort Bragg soldier Sayveon Anderson are coming to North Carolina to help in the search efforts. They will be meeting at Veterans Park in Fayetteville Sunday afternoon. 

Anderson was reported absent without leave on July 1. 

June 23: Sayveon Anderson last seen by his wife at home in Fayetteville. She said Anderson left home with other soldiers, and she believes he was heading back to Fort Bragg.

June 25: Anderson arrested at the Comfort Inn. Court records show he was charged with trespassing and posted $5,000 bond.

June 27: Pamela Anderson told CNN this is the last time she heard from her son.  

June 29: Anderson's commanding officer told his wife he was last seen on base around 6 a.m.

July 1: Anderson was reported AWOL

July 9: WRAL spoke with Anderson's mother and sister.

July 14: Anderson's family holds vigil in Charlottesville, VA.

Anderson is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 260 pounds. He has a chipped front tooth, a scar on his left arms, tattoos behind both ears and a tattoo on his upper left arm.

Fort Bragg has released the following statement:

The 3rd Corps Sustainment Command is working in coordination with local law enforcement agencies and the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to locate Spc. Sayveon Anderson and ensure his safe return.
