The 2026 HighSchoolOT All-State Boys Golf Team

The sixth-annual HighSchoolOT boys golf all-state team features 20 golfers making a second, third, or fourth appearance on the team, including six who were repeat first-team selections. HighSchoolOT's 2025-26 All-State teams are presented by Talk It Out NC and First Carolina Bank.

The teams place 10 golfers on first, second, and third teams based on their scores from throughout the year with an emphasis on championship score. Then, 20 more golfers make honorable mention.

Championship finish is a major factor on the team — a player who finished in the top three of a class cannot be on a team lower than the champion of that same class.

However, play throughout the year is also weighed by using the iWannamaker rating, that compares performances on difference courses.

The following athletes now have multiple appearances on the HSOT all-state boys golf team in their careers, with East Surry's Pennson Badgett, Apex Friendship's Daniel McBrien, and Pinecrest's Peter Myers graduating as four-time selections.
