The 2026 HighSchoolOT All-State Girls Outdoor Track and Field Team

Posted: 7/3/2026, 2:33:00 AM

The sixth-annual HighSchoolOT girls outdoor track and field all-state team features 36 athletes who now have more than one appearance on the team, including 12 who now have multiple first-team selections. HighSchoolOT's 2025-26 All-State teams are presented by Talk It Out NC and First Carolina Bank.

The all-state team is based on either N.C. High School Athletic Association or N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association championship performance.

The top three times/marks are first team, the next-best three are second team, and the following three are third team.

In some events, there were ties across different classifications. In order to determine the teams, the first tiebreaker was podium placement (a 7A champ got the spot over a second-place 8A athlete in the same event), the second tiebreaker was best regional mark, and third was best regular-season mark. If the athletes were still tied, they were each given the same spot on the all-state team.

Cummings' D'Anna Cotton headlines the list. Cotton now has 10 appearances on it, with seven first-team selections and was the only athlete to make this year's team in four events, setting one NCHSAA record and earning first-team honors in all four.

Four athletes made it in three events: Jack Britt's Bella Ross, Cuthbertson's Colby McCollum, Garner's Jamie Paku and Watauga's Lily Stough.

Twenty-three athletes made it in two different events: Chapel Hill's Aleah Weight, R-S Central's Alena Jimerson, Pinecrest's Alessia Potts, Southeast Guilford's Ataja Stephane-Vazquez, Durham Academy's Audrey Crowder, Mallard Creek's Bella-Marie Black, Marvin Ridge's Caitlin Kasten, Watauga's Cali Townsend, Myers Park's Calla Lanik, Jay M. Robinson's Coryn Tucker, Cummings' Diamond Moore, Ragsdale's Elle Dawson, Weddington's Emma Balaban, Marvin Ridge's Farrah Anderson, Greensboro Day's India Wilson, Statesville's Iyona Reid and Promise Lovelace, Cardinal Gibbons' Kaitlyn Estep, Dudley's Kymari Barham, West Forsyth's Laila Jones, Clayton's Londyn Atkinson, Atkins' Maddison Davis, and Asheville's Sebla Miracle.

Cotton, Stephane-Vazquez, Kasten, McCollum, Jones, Davis, Weight, Estep, Paku, Lovelace, Atkinson, and Mount Tabor's Rachel Riley have now made the first team multiple times.

The following athletes now have multiple appearances on the HSOT all-state outdoor team in their careers:
