The cost of Fourth of July celebrations have increased this year, creating a record-high bill for the holiday weekend.

Americans are expected to spend an average of $94.41, according to the National Retail Federation. That is an increase of two dollars from last year.

Some of the most notable price increases are on meat, dairy, fresh fruit and hamburger buns.

Two pounds of ground beef have increased by 5.5%, and a half-gallon of ice cream is 5.3% more expensive than last year.

Two pints of strawberries cost 12.4% more than last year, and hamburger buns have increased by around 8%.

However, not everything has gone up. The price of eggs and potatoes are back down. The cost of a crowd favorite, potato salad will cost 18% less than last Independence Day.

The survey says that Americans will likely spend more for the holiday weekend because of the monumental quarter-millennium birthday, and World Cup watch parties.

America’s 250th birthday celebrations are expected to reach record highs.
