A waiting list immediately formed when tickets for the watch parties went on sale on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes will play Game 2 against the Vegas Golden Knights at Lenovo Center  before heading to Las Vegas for Games 3 and 4. Carolina lost Game 1, 5-4, on Tuesday.

The Canes will be on the road for the following games of the series:

  • Game 3: Saturday, June 6, 8 p.m.
    • Game 4: Tuesday, June 9, 8 p.m.
      • Game 6 (if necessary): Sunday, June 14, 8 p.m.

While tickets for the Hurricanes' home games for the Stanley Cup Final reached more than $1,000, the team is also hosting outdoor watch parties on the South Plaza of Lenovo Center during those games.

Country duo Dan + Shay will headline that outdoor party during Game 2 on Thursday.

Parking for the road game watch parties will be free, but the team says fans who want to park on-site for the home game watch parties will need to pay. The team also said the following items would not be permitted at the home game watch parties:

        • Outside food and drinks.
          • Chairs.
            • Weapons.
              • Illegal substances.

The Lenovo Center watch parties will not the be the only ones during the Canes' first trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 20 years. Downtown Raleigh Alliance said it would host watch parties at Moore Square for the first two games of the series on Tuesday and Thursday, and several Raleigh businesses will show the games.
