Wake County deputies arrest Raleigh man in connection with early morning stabbing

Wake County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in connection with a stabbing on early Sunday morning.

Deputies arrested Felipe Soto on Wednesday.

Soto, 35, of Raleigh, is charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a stabbing along Skyview Drive near South Spring Garden Circle in Raleigh.

When deputies arrived, two people were already heading to the hospital in a car to receive treatment for serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
