Four people face rioting charges after a fight at the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park on Poyner Pond Circle in Raleigh led to the evacuation of customers from the building.

The Raleigh Police Department filed charges Monday. A department spokesperson told WRAL News officers responded to the indoor amusement center around 7:30 p.m. on March 8 for a reported fight occurring inside. Officers found a large group of people outside arguing.

Tacora Viera, 36 was charged with felony riot, carrying a concealed gun and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Warrants say Viera pulled out a semi-automatic handgun during the altercation that involved kids as young as 14 years old.

Charging documents reveal the fight put other customers in danger, forced them to evacuate and caused Urban Air to close early.

"...defendant and five other family members engaged in a fight with three teenagers who may have worked or been guests at Urban Air Adventure Park," A Wake County Assistant District Attorney said during Viera's first appearance hearing on Tuesday.

Three other people face misdemeanor charges related to the incident, according to Raleigh police.

In court, Viera claimed she was the victim.

"I believe they got the information mixed up because we were the ones attacked at Urban Air," she told a judge.

Raleigh police records indicate officers have responded to 118 calls for service at the Urban Air location since the beginning of 2024.

"Our team acted quickly and worked with local authorities to help ensure the safety of everyone on site," an Urban Air spokesperson wrote in an email to WRAL News when asked about the March incident.

Those charged received bond and were ordered to stay away from Urban Air Adventure Park.
