House party: Lenovo Center hosting Canes watch parties for Stanley Cup Final games

For those hoping to make the Carolina Hurricanes' first Stanley Cup Final appearance in decades a memorable experience, the home of the Canes is lending a hand.

On Sunday, the Canes posted on X that the team will host watch parties for all road games for the Stanley Cup Final at Lenovo Center. Hurricanes said that tickets for the road game watch parties will start at $10, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation.

Tickets for the watch parties go on sale at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with presale for season ticket holders starting at 1 p.m.

The Hurricanes start the Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday at Lenovo Center and will play the first two games of the series at home before heading to Las Vegas for Games 3 and 4.

The Canes will be on the road for the following games of the series:

  • Game 3: Saturday, June 6, 8 p.m.
    • Game 4: Tuesday, June 9, 8 p.m.
      • Game 6 (if necessary): Sunday, June 14, 8 p.m.

        The announcement comes as tickets for the Hurricanes' home games for the Final reached more than $1,000 in some instances

        Additionally, the Hurricanes added they will host outdoor watch parties during Game 1 and Game 2 on the South Plaza of Lenovo Center for fans who don't have tickets to the team's home games during the series. According to the team, the Game 1 watch party will feature a pregame concern from Brothers Osborne at 5:30 p.m.

        Parking for the road game watch parties will be free, but the team says fans who want to park on-site for the home game watch parties will need to pay. The team also said the following items would not be permitted at the home game watch parties:

        • Outside food and drinks.
          • Chairs.
            • Weapons.
              • Illegal substances.

                The watch parties will not the be the only ones during the Canes' first trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 20 years. Downtown Raleigh Alliance said it would host watch parties at Moore Square for the first two games of the series on Tuesday and Thursday, and several Raleigh businesses will show the games.
