Weekend best bets: International Food Fest, Pride and more

June is Pride Month and there are a lot of events coming up to help celebrate. And it is a big week for hockey with the Canes in the Stanley Cup Final

There are watch parties planned in Moore Square and at Lenovo Center. 

Plus, it is the beginning of summer so that means lots of outdoor fun. See our list of public pools

And Juneteenth is coming up, so get ready with our list of upcoming events.

Pride events

June 4: Durham Bulls Pride Night - See the Bulls play against Charlotte.

June 4: Pride Stories in Apex - Crafts, sweet treats and pop-ups at the Hunter Street Park.  

June 5: Pride Month Kick-Off Party - This free block party in Raleigh's warehouse district is part of First Friday. There will be food and drinks, bingo, free Pride portraits and more.

June 5-6: Triangle Gay Men's Chorus presents Every Voice Matters - Celebrate Pride month with these shows in Raleigh (June 5) and Durham (June 6).

June 5: Morrisville Pride Celebration - Morrisville's Music in the Park series will host a special concert to celebrate Pride at 101 Town Hall Drive.  

June 6: Pride Fest and Drag Show - There will be a drag show in the courtyard at Raleigh Iron Works hosted by Urban Pothos. Ticket sales are donated to the LGBT Center of Raleigh.

June 5: Dave Matthews Band - The band comes to Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek.

June 6: Khalid - The It’s Always Summer Somewhere tour with special guest Lauv comes to Red Hat.

June 5: NC Symphony's Swan Lake Selections - See the show at Koka Booth in Cary.  

June 6: NC Symphony's A Space Spectacular - The music of Star Wars and more at Koka Booth.

June 7: The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers - The Southern Hospitality Tour stops in Raleigh.

June 2-7: Hamilton at DPAC - See the Broadway show in Durham.

June 3-21: Dear Evan Hansen - Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of a high school senior struggling to belong in a world that feels overwhelming. The event is held at Theatre Raleigh.

Festivals, food and movies 

June 5: Movie Night: Back to the Future - See the movie at the Downtown Cary Park.  

June 5: Pints + Puppies - The adoption event takes place at Southern Peak Brewery in Apex.  

June 6: Raleigh's International Food Festival - Experience global food and flavors from 50+ countries from the community plus enjoy vibrant folkloric performances and global music.

June 6: Square to Square Street Fest - A free day of family fun in downtown Clayton.  

June 7: Puppy Yoga at Crank Arm - This event is $35 and covers your yoga class, some puppy love and a $20 donation to the Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies rescue for orphaned newborn puppies.

June 6: Geek and Grub Market: Supernatural Edition - Celebrate all things spooky and unexplained at this market at LeRoy Martin Magnet Middle School.

June 6: The Market at NCMA - Browse the galleries, enjoy the museum park, and shop local.
