In Greensboro, a Northwest Guilford High School senior prank was anything but ordinary for Dr. Brian Muller, the school's principal. Around 56 students showed up at Muller's home at 5 a.m. for a wakeup call the entire class won't forget.

"I was surprised," Muller said after he was susprised Wednesday morning. "You got me, you 100% got me."

To celebrate their last day of school, seniors decided to sneak into Muller's house. One of the students was able to get a house key from Muller's son Tuesday night.

The students woke Muller up by blasting pomp and circumstance -- and then Justin Bieber.

"It was wholesome fun, I appreciate it," Muller said. "Honestly, I took it as kind of an honor that they thought to include me in on the senior prank in such a harmless way. For them to be able to include me means that you know that we've built a good relationship and can have serious times in school but also have a little bit of fun as well."

Doorbell cam video shows the students plotting their entrance.

"I thought he was going to be upset because it's his house and we're invading his privacy, but honestly he was happy and shocked we were there," one student said.

"It was just really fun to be able to get to do that with your principal," another student said. "There were 130 people in the group chat, their whole family was in on the prank and everybody knew except him."

The seniors wanted to include Muller to give back to him everything he's done for them.

"Throughout the school year, he has made everything easier," one student said. "He's been communicating with the seniors a lot to help elevate the school, and it's just been good."

"Hhe wants a very good relationship with every individual student, not just a group of students he has," another said. "He wants to know your name, he wants to get to know you, he wants to make sure you have the best life in 10 to 15 years."

The principal joked that the only thing mising was his breakfast.

"I think they should bring food next time," Muller said. "Honestly, I was disappointed we didn't have pancakes ready to go after they came in at 5:15. I told the class of 2027 next year they need to bring pancakes."

Muller said it was one of the best senior pranks he's ever seen.

"I think it's fun," he said. "I think it's fun for the students. It's creating memories. I think this was definitely the best one I've seen over the years."

"It really made us want to slow down time and take in every moment we can," a student said.
