Police: Girl expected to be OK after hit by car in Raleigh

Raleigh police are investigating after a girl was hit by a car on Saturday at the intersection of Buffaloe and Forestville roads.

Officers said four children ran across the road. One girl was hit as they attempted to run across.

Police said she was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK. Officers said the driver did stay on the scene after the crash.

Police have not released the names of anyone involved.
