National Hamburger Day 2026 deals on May 28

National Hamburger Day 2026 is Thursday, May 28 and you can score some tasty restaurant deals throughout the week! These offers are only valid at participating locations. This list will continue to grow through May 28 as new offers are announced. Some restaurants wait until the day before or the day of an event to announce their promotions so be sure to check back.    

Bad Daddy's Burger Bar is offering the All-American Burger and a classic side for $10 on May 28, 2026 at participating locations, according to their post on Instagram. 

Burger King Royal Perks members get a free hamburger with a purchase of $3 or more on May 28, 2026 at participating locations with the offer on the Burger King app or website. See the details on their press release. 

Checkers is offering a Buy One Get One Free Classic Burger deal on May 27-28 at participating locations, according to an e-mail from their PR folks. 

DQ Rewards members get $1 off any Signature Stackburger from May 25-31, 2026. In order to get this discount, you need to download the DQ Mobile App and sign up to be a DQ Rewards Member. According to their press release, the offer may take 24 hours to appear in the app.   

From May 25-31, Shake Shack is offering a free ShackBurger with a $10 minimum purchase at participating locations. To get this deal, use the code FREEBURGER when you order on the Shack App, online or at the in-restaurant kiosk. See the details on their press release.

Smashburger is offering any single burger for $5.28 on May 28, 2026 when you use the code 528SINGLE at checkout at participating locations. See the offer on their website.

Sonic Reward Members get a free SONIC Smasher™ or All-American Smasher with a $5 purchase from May 4-31, 2026 when you order in the Sonic app at participating locations. See the details on their press release.

On May 28, 2026, Wayback Classic Burgers are $5 each when you order in-restaurant, online or through the Wayback Rewards program at participating locations. There is a limit of 2 per order. See the offer on their Facebook page.
