New website shows real-time parking availability at NC beaches

A new website is making it easier for drivers to park at three North Carolina beaches.

PivotGO! launched this weekend. It was created by a parking vendor Pivot Parking. The goal is to help drivers find parking at Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach and Surf City.

Drivers can click on parking areas to see where spots are available before leaving their homes. 

The website also offers navigation tools through Google, Waze and Apple Maps. 

There's paid parking at the beaches from March 1 through October 31. It's enforced at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., 7 days per week during that time.

Surf City vistors are required to park in Surf City Parking Lots. Visitors can buy hourly, daily, or weekly season passes here.
