More than peanuts: Lunch is popular at this Henderson spot

The Peanut Factory in Henderson used to be called the Peanut Roaster. John and Carol Monahan ran it for years. But then fire burned the building almost to the ground. 

They thought about giving up but decided to rebuild.

"And, hey, why don't we add a deli and offer sandwiches?" John said. Carol looked at him as if he had three heads. 

They reopened and re-branded, and their place is now called the Peanut Factory. And the deli is hugely popular, especially for lunch. 

They still sell plenty of peanuts, too. John's dad started selling peanuts in 1941, and the family tradition continues.
